An unexpected
milestone.
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I got dressed up and attended the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. I did not expect to leave with anything other than good snacks and great conversations. Loyalist Concierge Co. was named 1 of 2 New Businesses of the Year. I told everyone I was sweating because I was. The lights were so bright I could not even picture the audience in their underwear, and that is a technique I have been saving for emergencies. This business started because people were overwhelmed and underserved, and the gap between those two things was where I decided to show up. Some of you were here from the very beginning. Some of you took a chance on something brand new, run by someone with a vision and a lot of determination and absolutely no idea how heavy award trophies are. That trust is not something I take lightly. It is the whole thing. It is why this exists, why it keeps growing, and why standing in that room holding that award felt like so much more than a win for me. It is proof that showing up for people actually matters. Consider it handled.

I spent nearly 20 years in child protection before a workplace injury forced a change I did not plan for. What came out of it was this business, built around the thing I am best at: helping people manage the hard stuff.

What started with helping a few families with errands and organization has turned into a full support operation for clients across Kingston, Loyalist, and beyond. We also work virtually with clients across Canada for marketing and admin support.

I bring honesty, attention to detail, and zero judgment to every task. When your life runs smoother, everything feels lighter. That is the whole point.
